Crazy Giraffe lady… 🦒🥰
Why am I so obsessed with giraffes?
Let’s get one thing straight: giraffes aren’t just my favorite animal. They’re my spirit animal, my divine mascot, and my cosmic reminder to always see life from the “highest perspective.”
Growing up as a Muslim, I connected deeply with the beauty of spiritual discipline and reverence. These days, I call myself a cultural Muslim. I don’t follow religion in the traditional sense anymore, but I absolutely believe in a higher power. Whether you call it Allah, God, Source, or The Universe, it’s all love, and it’s all sacred. I also believe that most religions originally began as personal movements to connect with the Divine and embody our highest selves. Somewhere along the way, many of those sacred messages got hijacked by systems of control, but the truth is still alive underneath.
Now here’s the fun part. Because I didn’t grow up Christian, I never really resonated with the crucifix. So one day, I asked Jesus to show up in a way I could vibe with—something playful and high-frequency that matched my soul. And wouldn’t you know it? He showed up as a giraffe. Tall, gentle, wise, and just a little weird… exactly like me.
Jesus reminded me that he knew how to have fun. He turned water into wine and rolled with fishermen and rebels, everyday folks like you and me. He didn’t come to rule from a throne. He came to show us how to be godly in human form. That’s why he’s such a big part of my journey, even outside of religious labels.
The giraffe reminds me to stay grounded but keep my head high, to rise above the noise, reach for the sweet fruit, and never forget how divine this human experience can be. It’s the ultimate symbol for anyone who’s Spiritually Spicy, like you and me.
That’s why the giraffe is the face of Socially Infected, my mission to spread love, connect hearts, and help birth global peace, one conversation, one dance, one truth at a time.
I pray for world peace every day. And I do my best to live it out loud.
